The
campground is located adjacent to the island's most popular beach,
Flamenco Beach, on the northwest shore of the island. It is operated
by the Autoridad de Conservación y Desarrollo de Culebra
(government). Nestled between mangroves, pines and the ocean sounds
and breezes, the campground offers an exceptional site to pitch
your tent that will allow you to relax and enjoy this precious moment
with your friends and family.

Flamenco
Beach Campground offers five different campsites (zones), from A
to E, to satisfy the needs of its visitors (see the map):
from areas designated for young-active single adults to family oriented
sites. Spread out through the campground, you will find many amenities
including: BBQ grilling areas, water cisterns, showers, bathrooms,
and of course, the beautiful Bandera Azul ("Blue Flag"
designation) Flamenco Beach; this international designation was
given to this beach because of the quality of its waters, security
(lifeguards and rangers), services, and environmental conscientiousness.

By
the entrance of the camping area, you will find many kiosks selling
food, beverages, and renting beach/camping equipment, etc. A designated
parking area is also available at the entrance of the campsite.
Taxis or "publicos" (as they are called in Spanish) are
also accessible at the front of the campground if you wish to use
their services to go shopping in downtown or to take the ferryboat
back home.

The
daily rate to pitch a tent at the campsite is $20, which allows
you to accommodate a maximum number of 6 people in your tent. Unfortunately,
you may only camp for up to seven (7) consecutives nights. When
checking-in, you must first stop at the main office to do so and
obtain your camp site location; check-in time starts at 8:00 am
and check-out time is at 4:00 pm. Please take a moment to read the
rules and regulations in order for you to
be aware of what is expected of you and your guests. For reservations
